Various Exterior Upgrades to Home in Knoxville, TN
My name is Jeff Butler. We moved here in June of 2025, so just over 6 months now. I chose CRS Exteriors after going through, I’d say, probably four other companies. And there was an interview process. I really like James, the salesperson who came out. His knowledge was exceptional. I narrowed it down to CRS and one other company. And then I met with both ownerships and CRS just stood out. You know, I just felt very comfortable with the workmanship and the knowledge that they conveyed to me in the interview.
We used a lot of products…When we bought this home, we loved this neighborhood. There was a lot to do. So, we were looking for a company that could do it all. We had the roof replaced. We had 42 windows replaced. We had four doors replaced. My front door was not something I was going to replace, but CRS Exteriors noted that there was some wear on it and that they had put it in a while back that it was under warranty and that they would replace that. So, that wasn’t even something on my checklist. We had an extension put on the back of the house, kind of a roof extension. So, they did the roof, the windows, the doors, and a roof extension for us.
They did a phenomenal job. you know, in my mind, I was like, “This is what I want.” They were like, “Well, that sounds great, but what do you think about this?” And, you know, their expertise really came through, and I’m happy I went with what they wanted to do. It looks fantastic. So, one of the differentiators for us, you had asked earlier why I selected them.
As we were going through the various manufacturers that they rep, you know, Provia, Marvin, as we started to dive in, those two really stood out as kind of the quality that we were looking for, that was paramount to us is we wanted the best quality out there. And so we dived down into the specifics, and when I saw that, especially the Marvin for the windows, all fiberglass, not having to worry about long-term fade of color and warping and such. So, very happy with the quality that they presented to us. And again, that’s one of the reasons why we went with them. But now that they’re in, we love them. They’re beautiful. They did a great job.
I’m 53 years old. I’ve owned about 15 homes. We’ve moved a lot. I was ex-military. I’ve been through a lot of crews. The quality of workmanship was phenomenal. I love the product. Their service, their communication, has been the best I’ve ever had in any situation. And I want to call out Michael especially. Michael has just been the absolute best professional, proactive communication, reactive communication, and Johnny on the spot. The whole crew, everybody that came out to my house, I have nothing but top stars for them. I did a lot of research. I talked to a lot of people. I’ve been through a huge renovation, and there is nothing bad I can say about these guys. I recommend them hands down!
